Losing Weight Is Not Easy To Do
Some people would say that it is especially
those who are slimmer than we are.
All we have to do is
to look at what we eat and work out more. We need to use more calories than we
put in. All this is true, of course but to putting it into action is sometimes
not so easy.
Because losing weight
is not easy to do, in order to succeed, we need to change what we do daily. It has
been said that diets do not work because after we come off the diet we put the
weight back on.
Dieting
makes you fat is the thinking. What we need to do to keep it off permanently, is to alter our way of life and look to lose
weight in the long term.
Joining a group can give
you support and comfort in your efforts? I say comfort because there are times
when you will not feel like the exercise or if you are like me and now and
again fall for the bar of chocolate, you need to know that you are not alone
and all is not lost.
I never tell my family
or friends that I am on a diet. They love to remind you of all your past
failures and point out that the sweet you just popped in your mouth will not
help- but we know that and do not need to be reminded at every turn.
Therefore,
I do not inform anyone of my plan. You can, let everybody know what you are
doing that will give you the incentive to succeed.
I look at photo of
twenty years ago and drool at how good I looked and wondered what happened. In
my opinion age plays a part in my weight gain, that what I say to myself and
friends. In some cases age does have something to do
with it
Losing
weight is not easy to do so pay attention to what you buy. Look at the calories of the items you are about
to put on your plate
Above all, do some exercise?
Make sure it is alright with your doctor
before you start. Over time, the weight
will be coming off slowly.
Saying all that, there
are times when we all need help from experts as it is not easy to lose weight.
In that case, we need to choose which weight loss product we buy and use very
carefully. Many have found this route to losing weight very satisfactory.
Have
